Why subscribe?

Throughout my career in NGO and environmental writing I have been indoctrinated.

I have been trained to write, if not think, in a prescribed set of terms. 

This newsletter is a provocation. I don’t mind if it upsets you, for reasons that will become obvious. 

It will likely create more questions than answers. I hope it does. It seeks to provoke the consideration of different modes of discussing environmental issues than the ones that are currently predominant.

It comes from two decades of experience of working on those issues. I’m writing all the things nobody in the mainstream NGO or media world will pay for, that just happen to be a lot closer to what I actually believe and want to say. Let’s call it the Inconveniently Uncommercialisable Truth.
