Not too far gone to respond, Andy! So I’ll respond here. Great piece and brings up gut-dropping discomfort to the average reader. Much needed, so I will encourage more people to read your pieces

I just love the image, wow that says a lot and your writing is quite thought provoking. It's needed, critical thinking around the water bubbler. You are correct, we need to buy better, buy less. Buy secondhand first and keep as much of our economy in our local community. Recycling waste in place rather than adding carbon miles to it by shipping that too around the planet.

Planet Ark is working on it's piece of the puzzle just like we are working on ours.

I am working with a behavioural scientist with our NFP and he said people just don't know what they should be doing and right now there is all this information on sorting waste, where to send it. What type of growing; syntropic or permaculture or regeneration = all are right btw. So the one thing Les, our scientist said is that you have to make people feel like it is their idea. Then they will keep taking steps in the right direction.

I am collaborating with Scientists, academics, agronomists, carbon scientists and sustainability consultants and professional bin divers = reducing waste contamination and right now we are taking the methanemoment by the reins and running that, working with Ag tech and helping their circular economy while looking at other economies like social good.

We have a permaculture entrepreneur that we are connecting with developers that will put a market garden in every new development so that fresh local food from household compost can be available at every cluster of childcare, take aways, coffee shops and where the under privileged can trade hours for a box of veges.

Change is coming, the ripple effect is happening. I truly feel excited and hopeful for the future because I know there is disruption is happening in the building industry as well.

Good change is coming. I am very hopeful of the future, in fact excited because the disruption that is coming is better for the people and planet and not the 1%. Although that is going to take us working for freedom not for the grind.
